The Commercial Loan Service Specialist will be a member of the Paid and Hazard Insurance team within the Commercial Loan Services group.  The Commercial Loan Services team is responsible for releasing collateral on paid loan and monitoring Hazard Insurance on collateral.  The primary function of this role will be in support of the collateral release process for Huntington National Bank Commercial portfolio.   The position will include releasing many different type of collateral, monitoring Hazard Insurance, UCC.  We are also responsible for completing STR’s and Business Entities searches.  We will quality review our teams work.

Some primary responsibilities of this role are:

  • Analyze collateral documentation and ensure alignment with the credit approval system for partial releases.
  • Maintenance in our AFSVision system including adding and updating collateral when they are released  or when we are continuing  a UCC.
  • Partnership with business segments regarding missing or insufficient documentation and the status of loans.
  • Release lien position through filing or recording of documents (UCC, mortgage, titles, etc)
  • Monitor report results for any data discrepancies.
  • Manage incoming workflow of loan documentation to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met or exceeded.

 

Additional responsibilities may include:

·         We will quality review or teams work.

·         We may need to mail out original documentations.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least two or three-year experience in a financial service-related position

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access — Ability to create and edit basic Word and Excel documents.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem solving ability
  • Prior customer service experience is helpful
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • CLOS and/or Velocity system experience preferable
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Demonstrated dependability (attendance)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adhering to established SLA targets and quality requirements
  • Commitment to Huntington’s Vision and Values
  • Overtime could be required
  • Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
