About Us: Holy Family Services is a historic, 40 year old non profit birth center located in beautiful South Texas. For decades, our campus has provided a safe, beautiful, out of hospital birth experience for families in our community. We are currently rebuilding our foundation, pursuing CABC accreditation, and looking for a clinical leader who wants to make a massive impact.

We are proud to be an official HRSA approved site, which means working with us qualifies you to apply for federal student loan repayment!

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide full scope midwifery care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and well woman care. You will be practicing the true, holistic midwifery model of care in our private birth houses, supported by a dedicated team of RNs, Birth Assistants, and a backing Medical Director.

Expected Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive, evidence based clinical care to patients during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period.

Manage and attend out of hospital deliveries, including physiologic labor, water births, and the use of nitrous oxide.

Conduct well woman care, family planning, and routine gynecological exams in the clinic setting.

Collaborate seamlessly with our nursing staff, birth assistants, and Clinical Director.

Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records (EHR) for all patients.

Transfer care or consult with our backing Medical Director or local hospital systems when medical risk factors arise.

Participate in clinic meetings, peer reviews, and our journey toward CABC accreditation.

Minimum Requirements:

Graduated from an accredited midwifery education program (Master’s or Doctorate degree).

Active AMCB (American Midwifery Certification Board) certification.

Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Registered Nurse (RN) licenses in the state of Texas, or eligible to obtain.

Current BLS, CPR, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.

Eligible for a Texas DEA license for prescriptive authority.

Specific Skills We Are Looking For:

A strong, unwavering commitment to the midwifery model of care and out of hospital birth.

Clinical confidence in managing physiologic birth, water birth, and standard birth center emergencies (such as suturing and hemorrhage management).

Strong leadership and communication skills to work closely with patients and direct support staff.

Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a massive plus, but not completely required.

What We Offer (The Benefits):

Federal Loan Repayment: As a HRSA approved site, you can apply for federal student loan forgiveness.

Housing and Relocation: Relocation assistance is available, plus access to a dedicated staff house to make your transition seamless!

Work Life Balance: A truly sustainable call schedule to protect your off time, plus Paid Time Off (PTO).

Full Coverage: We pay for your malpractice insurance and provide an annual stipend for your Continuing Education (CEUs) and license renewals.

Incredible Support: You are never alone. You are fully supported by trained RNs and Birth Assistants.
