Buyer
Location: Westfield, IN
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Intellectt Inc. is seeking a Buyer I to support purchasing and procurement operations for a leading organization in Westfield, Indiana. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in purchasing, supplier management, negotiation, and inventory planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Purchase raw materials, MRO supplies, and services in a cost-effective and timely manner
• Manage site-wide purchasing activities and supplier relationships
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve the best value
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery metrics
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, ISO standards, cGMP requirements, and SOPs
• Maintain vendor records, purchasing documentation, and procurement files
• Analyze spending and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support continuous supply of materials to meet operational needs
Qualifications:
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or buyer roles
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of inventory planning and material procurement
• Experience working in ISO, GMP, or regulated environments is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred
