USA Sport Group is a leading provider of youth sports enrichment programs, serving 60,000+ participants annually across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
We’re looking for a Business Development Intern to gain hands-on experience in sales, business growth, market research, process improvement, and client development. This role is focused on identifying opportunities to grow the business, improve operations, and develop new products and services.
What You’ll Do
- Research potential markets, clients, and opportunities for business expansion
- Assist with sales and outreach to prospective clients and customers
- Research and support the development of new products and services
- Analyze business data and present findings and recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and efficiency
- Assist with website updates and content improvements
- Support SEO initiatives and online business development efforts
- Communicate with prospective clients and customers by phone and email
- Assist with projects focused on increasing revenue and business growth
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Academic credit highly preferred
- Interest in business development, sales, entrepreneurship, management, or a related field
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable communicating by phone and email
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to take on a variety of projects
- Interest in sports is a plus
- Web development or SEO experience is a plus, but not required
Spring 2027 Internship Details
Dates: January 18th – April 30th (15 weeks) with mandatory orientation January 15th
Hours: Minimum 15 hours/week with flexible scheduling
Location: In-person at our headquarters in Whitehouse Station, NJ
Summer 2027 Internship Details
Dates: May 31st – August 6th (10 weeks) with mandatory orientation May 28th
Hours: Minimum 15 hours/week with flexible scheduling
