GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

At The Technology House, our administrative team is the team who keeps the office running smoothly. We are seeking a qualified administrative assistant to help maintain the flow of documentation, requests, and organization throughout the office. Our ideal administrative assistant has in-depth knowledge of and experience in administrative tasks, such as working with office equipment, accounts receivable, and accounts payable within the manufacturing field.                   

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Maintain and use office equipment, such as phones, copiers, computers, etc.

  • Answer telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and direct them to relevant staff
  • Field accounts receivable and accounts payable inquiries
  • Enter customer invoices and vendor bills
  • Welcome visitors to our facility while following proper security protocols
  • Work with the company’s software programs (i.e., JobBOSS, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Paylocity, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with all departments
  • Organize, file, and maintain proper document retention for paperwork related to customers, venders, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
  • Major or minor in Accounting, Business Administration, Communication, or Finance is preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience as an office clerk, administrative assistant, or similar role

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform tasks in a seated position for extended periods
  • Keyboarding for extended periods
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Team oriented with strong leadership skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently
