Associate Trade Sales Consultant

Launch your career in sales with Pella. The Associate Trade Sales Consultant role is designed to prepare you for a future position as an outside Trade Sales Consultant through hands-on experience, mentorship, and training.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with an experienced Sales Consultant while supporting customers in the showroom and in the field. You’ll build product knowledge, develop customer relationships, and gain experience using tools like PQM and CRM to generate quotes and manage interactions—all while learning how to grow and manage a customer base.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the sales process in the showroom and in the field
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, and homeowners
  • Assist with quoting, blueprint reading, and customer follow-up
  • Develop expertise in Pella products and the competitive landscape
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Participate in sales training, local events, and industry opportunities

This role is designed to prepare you for an outside sales position within 6–12 months, based on your readiness and business needs.

 

Compensation & Benefits

The pay for this role is $25/hr., with eligibility to receive other supplemental earnings such as over-time. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, specific work geography, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
