Job Title: Associations, Nonprofits, Businesses, & Foundations Outreach (ANBF) Outreach Manager Intern

Department: Outreach Department 

Location: Remote (EST)

Duration: 4 Months, 5 Hours a Week (Exceptions for Midterms and Finals) 

Compensation: Unpaid / Academic Credit Available
 

What You’ll Be Doing: Joining a Political Action Committee

As an ANBF (Associations, Nonprofits, Businesses, & Foundations Outreach) Manager, you will be building strategic institutional relationships and managing donor recruitment in a remote, project-based capacity. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and build digital ties with trade associations, corporate structures, and nonprofits
  • Connect with business leaders and foundation executives to match interests with PAC objectives
  • Plan and run digital fundraising webinars, online pitch presentations, and virtual networking events
  • Run targeted email campaigns, track engagement metrics, send political update newsletters, and maintain CRM databases 
  • Monitor organizational donor contribution limits, ensure adherence to Federal Election Commission (FEC) rules, and draft weekly progress reports
     

Qualifications

  • Majoring in, or planning to major in, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and high attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in remote tools and software. 
  • Proficiency or familiarity with virtual event production, digital advertising tools, and email marketing platform is preferred. 
  • Strict discretion regarding confidential donor data, and strong remote task-facilitation skills.
