Only applicants from the New Jersey area will be considered. (Do not apply out of State or out of Country) Please read this question before you apply.

Responsibilities

  • You will shadow project teams and develop a deep, current picture of how work gets done, where it breaks down, and where technology can genuinely help.
  • You will be the person who is wildly up to speed on everything happening in home products technology — from autonomous equipment to AI‑assisted — and can evaluate where each piece might fit in the real workflows you are observing.
  • Conduct structured job shadows of Merchandisers, Designers, Sourcing & Production employees across project types — bath, bedding, home décor — to map how workflows day‑to‑day and where the friction, waste, and brilliance live.
  • Build and maintain a living knowledge base of home product workflows, pain points, and technology gaps across all departments.
  • Identify systemic patterns across all divisions that point to high‑leverage opportunities for technology intervention or process improvement.
  • Develop technology fit assessments: given what you see in the field, where could a given tool create value vs. where would it be shelfware?
  • Identify the highest‑leverage AI use cases for specific roles and project types based on what you are seeing, and work with our team to customize solutions accordingly.
  • Serve as the credible, trusted voice on AI and technology for field teams.

We offer:

A business casual work environment, FREE on-site gym, complimentary shuttle service from Secaucus train station, and work from Home on Friday! Heath, Vision, Dental Benefits, Flex spending, Transit, 401K plan, flexible working hours, safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Extract and codify expert knowledge from experienced home product professionals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • The people you shadow know things that are not written down anywhere.
  • AI work experience (3+ years)
  • Strong background in project management and implementation required
  • AI literacy that goes beyond using ChatGPT. Must have AI literacy in Claude, Perplexity and Co-pilot
  • You have built workflows, automated processes, and can demonstrate how AI tools change the way people work.
  • Exceptional communication skills across audiences — you can have a credible conversation with all levels.
  • This role lies in the field, not behind a desk.
  • Natural credibility with home product professionals
  • You are respected because you understand the work, not just the tools.
