Quintrix is seeking passionate engineers looking to advance their careers in AI and Machine Learning with a prestigious client in the banking and financial services. This opportunity includes a comprehensive 4-week online pre-employment training program, designed to fit your schedule with 15 hours per week of instruction held after business hours. Participants who successfully complete the pre-employment training will receive a $500 stipend, along with in-demand skills, hands-on experience, and a clear pathway into a dynamic tech role.

Job Title: AI Engineer (Associate/Junior)

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Client Domain: Banking

 

Objectives: 

  • To assist in the design, development, and implementation of AI models and solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • To contribute to the evaluation, testing, and optimization of AI algorithms and software components.
  • To support data processing and management tasks essential for AI workflows.
  • To continually enhance technical skills and stay abreast of AI advancements.

 

Key Responsibilities (to be covered during training):

  • Model Development: Assist in building, training, and validating machine learning and deep learning models under supervision.
  • Data Handling: Collect, preprocess, clean, and organize datasets required for training and evaluation of AI models.
  • Algorithm Implementation: Translate theoretical AI concepts into practical code in languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Java.
  • Testing & Evaluation: Participate in designing tests, evaluating model accuracy, and reporting results to the team.
  • Documentation: Create clear, concise documentation for code, model architectures, and processes for internal use.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver assigned tasks.
  • Deployment Support: Assist in deploying AI models and services to production environments under guidance.
  • Maintenance: Monitor performance of deployed models and report any issues or anomalies for resolution.
  • Learning & Development: Actively participate in internal training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to advance AI knowledge.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and not require any visa sponsorship now or in future. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 0-6 months of related experience. 
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts and techniques.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, TypeScript or Java.
  • Experience with ML libraries like TensorFlow, Pytorch or similar is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Data Preprocessing techniques and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates should be able to commute/relocate to the job location.
  • Candidates should be able to commit to work a minimum of 15 months.

 

Selection Process & Training:

  • Online assessment and technical interview by Quintrix.
  • Client Interview(s). 
  • 4 weeks of pre-employment online instructor-led training.
