New Pig is searching for an Accounting Associate!  We’re seeking a reliable and precise professional to join our team.  We are seeking a candidate who can work with our accounting and service department, respond to internal and external customer inquiries, work at a fast pace with rapidly changing technology, and much more.  Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager.

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Accounts receivable payment application and discrepancy resolutions
  • Accounts receivable customer communications (collections and customer inquiries)
  • Provide superior customer service internally and externally
  • Navigate through different financial systems throughout the day
  • Assist in special projects and various other accounting operations duties on an as-needed basis
  • Provide full backup administration for other accounting personnel in a specific functional area (e.g. AR, AP) when needed
  • Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
  • All other duties as assigned or directed

Requirements: 

  • Associates degree in accounting, finance or related major required. Bachelor’s degree is highly desired. Or combination of education & work experience. 
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Possess strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Personable, eager, quick learner, and adaptable
  • Detail oriented and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively, both orally and written, with department leaders and peers
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Windows, Office, Word, and Excel
