The Monmouth Finance Society is a student-led organization. All majors are welcome to participate, and all events are free of charge.

The purpose of the Monmouth Finance Society is to introduce Monmouth University students to the many fields of finance and economics, including areas such as investment management, banking, financial planning, risk management, quantitative finance, as well as key branches of economics like macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, and development.

It prepares students for success in the finance industry by offering workshops, interview preparation, research opportunities, alumni networking, guest speakers, panels with professionals, social events, and participation in competitions such as stock pitch contests, case competitions, and portfolio management challenges.

In fulfilling these objectives, the Society serves Monmouth University by providing extracurricular education and professional development opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, in line with University regulations and policies.
