Please note that there are a very limited number of seats in this program and available seats are awarded based on a first-come, first-served basis to students who have completed the Yellow Ribbon application process. As such, it is critical that you complete your application in a timely manner.

Your application will NOT be considered until it is complete and all required documentation has been received by the Financial Aid Office. You will be notified by the Financial Aid Office once your application, Certificate of Eligibility, and DD-214 (if applicable) have been reviewed and a determination of your eligibility for Monmouth University Yellow Ribbon funding has been made. Note that submission of an application is not a guarantee of Yellow Ribbon funding by either the University or the Veteran's Administration.
NOTE: If you are currently serving on active duty, neither you or your spouse are eligible for Yellow Ribbon funding; dependent children, under certain conditions, may be eligible. You are encouraged to consult the Department of Veteran Affairs regarding your eligibility at www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/yellow_ribbon.asp.
If you are on active duty and will be released prior to beginning your enrollment at Monmouth, you may apply for the Yellow Ribbon Program but you must provide a copy of your DD-214 to the Financial Aid Office at least two weeks in advance of beginning your enrollment in order to receive funding. Students who submit the DD-214 less than two weeks prior to the beginning of the term will be considered on a space available basis for the Yellow Ribbon Program.

For the 2016-17 academic year, Monmouth University's Yellow Ribbon Program will have a total of 40 seats available for both new and continuing students. Our maximum contribution for the academic year will be $8,000 which the Department of Veteran Affairs will match. Please note for 2016-17 the private institution tuition and fees cap for the Post 911 GI Bill® is $21,970.46.
