Prof. Cavallo

Faculty Writing Assistant

I received my MA in English from Monmouth University, and I’m currently at the start of my fourth year teaching composition courses, and my second year of teaching at Monmouth (EN 101 & 102). My favorite thing about teaching composition is connecting with my students through their writing, and helping them grow as both writers and thinkers. In turn, I’ve found that I learn quite a bit from them, as well! I’m looking forward to my first year tutoring for Writing Services. In my free time I can be found photographing wildlife, pets, and concerts, as well as working on my first collection of creative nonfiction personal essays, and playing clarinet in a local concert band.

Prof. Connelly

Faculty Writing Assistant

I received my BA and MA in English from Monmouth University with a special interest in Postmodern Literature. Currently, I am in my third year of teaching first-year composition and my sixth year of tutoring in Writing Services. My goal as a professor and Writing Assistant is to aid students in reaching their potential as great writers while also helping them realize that their thoughts, ideas, and opinions are significant in this world. In my free time, I enjoy reading, binge-watching Netflix, and keeping up with the latest pop culture.
