Mimecast Awareness Training is an engaging and entertaining cybersecurity awareness video training platform that delivers 1-2 video links to your email a month…approximately 3-5 minutes of your time monthly. That is a small investment timewise to dedicate to helping protect yourself and the University. Remember- Stay Safe, Stay Secure, Cybersecurity Starts with You!
To Access the Videos
- You will receive an email from awarenesstraining@monmouth.edu with a link to a video module(s) to complete. Select the link in the email to access the video:
- If you are prompted to sign in, use your Monmouth University email address and password. You will see your Training Library videos you have not yet watched at the top under Pending Modules as well as Previously Viewed Modules at the bottom. Select the video module to watch it.

- When you are watching the video, you will see steps displayed at the top. The first step is watching the video. The following steps include one knowledge question and feedback to your response. Remember- it is not about being assessed – it is about learning. Complete all four steps. If you wish to re-watch a video at any time, select Re Watch Module.
- You will know you have successfully finished the module when you see 4/4 steps completed. Make sure to select End Experience so your module completion is recorded.
- To return to your Training Awareness Library at any time if you cannot find the original email, go to mimecast.monmouth.edu, sign in with your Monmouth University email address and password. Select the Awareness Training app and you will see your Training Library.
