All Monmouth University helping professionals (Nursing, Social Work, Professional Counseling, and Educational Counseling) are welcome!

Growing scientific evidence is now demonstrating what yogis have known for thousands of years: yoga has many health benefits for people of all ages. In this class we will incorporate restorative postures, movement and gentle techniques to promote flexibility, strength, and balance. Through conscious awareness of mind and the body the simple techniques employed in this class will help you practice stress reduction and self-care.

The Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Studies, Department of Professional Counseling, School of Social Work, and Department of Educational Counseling and Leadership invite you to take a break from the stress of the holidays and prepping for finals. 

Each class will begin with a brief introduction to a self-care technique or theory, something to take away that you can adopt yourself or share with those you serve.
