Research Vessels

Monmouth University and the School of Science operate four vessels for research and field activities: the 49-foot Heidi Lynn Sculthorpe, the 32-foot Ocean Hawk, the 27-foot Seahawk, and the 18-foot Little Hawk. We also have a collection of cutting-edge technologies used for measuring, mapping, and exploring subsurface features, such as shorelines and submerged obstructions. Monmouth supports vessel and field activities in a number of areas including student and faculty research efforts as well as contracted work for constituencies external to Monmouth.

For vessel rates or other inquiries, please contact Koorleen Minton at 732-571-3421 (kminton@monmouth.edu) or Joe Coyle (jcoyle@monmouth.edu).
