Overview

Top Gun Academy is designed to invest in future leaders of Cornerstone Caregiving, immersing candidates in the home care industry alongside a tenured Operating Director and their leadership team. Candidates will gain insight into business development, staffing, scheduling, leadership and more. Upon successful completion of Top Gun Academy, candidates will be positioned to enter The Top Gun Leadership Development Program and advance toward an Operating Director role. 

 

Program Outline

Compensation: $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience

Duration: Flexible engagement – semester, summer or year-round availability

Structure:

Phase One – Top Gun Intern

Candidates must be available to work 10 to 20 hours weekly.

  • Shadow Operating Director and office leadership team
  • Assist with office staffing, scheduling and operations
  • Contribute to sales and business development efforts 
  • Receive ongoing mentorship and performance-based feedback
  • Complete all phase target metrics

Upon successful completion of Phase One, candidates will advance to Phase Two.

Phase Two – Top Gun Associate

Candidates must be available to work 20 to 30 hours weekly.

  • Continue working alongside Operating Director and office leadership team
  • Lead an Office Improvement Project to be presented at the completion of phase two
  • Take on increasing ownership of staffing, scheduling, and operations
  • Play an integral role in sales and business development efforts
  • Participate in leadership discussions and operational reviews
  • Complete all phase target metrics 

Upon successful completion of Phase Two, candidates are eligible to transition into The Top Gun Leadership Development Program.
