Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support our operations team. This role offers hands-on experience in planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and sales teams to improve supply chain efficiency and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with demand planning and forecasting activities 
  • Support procurement processes, including supplier communication and purchase order tracking 
  • Analyze inventory levels and help maintain optimal stock levels to meet production needs 
  • Track and report key supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, fill rates, on-time delivery) 
  • Help identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation initiatives 
  • Participate in logistics coordination, including inbound materials and outbound shipments 
  • Create and maintain reports using Excel or ERP systems 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ongoing projects and daily operations 

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus) 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Interest in manufacturing, operations, or industrial products
