REPORTS TO: Manager of Youth Programs Administration 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

1. Enter and maintain summer program participant information and files 

2. Assist with answering office phones and returning messages about camp inquiries 

3. Conduct in-office and online registration of SuperKids Camp participants 

4. Participate in SuperKids Camp recruitment events (at schools, partner organizations, resource fairs, etc.) 

5. Assist with coordination and oversight of summer program special events (parent orientation, staff party, 

family engagement events, closing ceremony, etc.) 

6. Coordinate pre and post inventory, purchase, disbursement and collection of supplies and materials 

7. Conduct final visits with camp sites to finalize all logistics and safety information 

8. Troubleshoot and problem solve logistical issues 

9. Report weekly and daily SuperKids Camp attendance and enrollment 

10. General administrative duties 

11. Assist with program operations 

12. Attend weekly staff meetings 

13. Other duties, as assigned 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Requirements 

• 2+ years of experience in office setting 

• Ability to demonstrate hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite and Canva 

• Proficient oral and written communication skills 

• Must be able to effectively, and in a positive manner, handle a fast-paced environment with daily problem 

solving duties that include, but are not limited to, participant transportation, parent concerns and 

logistical issues 

• Great customer service skills 

• Ability to take initiative 

• Strong interpersonal skills needed to interact with staff, participants, parents and the public 

• Good time-management skills and flexibility needed to prioritize tasks and handle multiple concurrent 

activities which are often associated with deadlines 

• Very strong organizational skills 

• Ability to work without direct supervision 

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs. or more 

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others 

• Ability to problem solve as needed 

 

Preferences 

• Bachelor’s degree 

• Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) 

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 

• Working knowledge of video conferencing software, especially Zoom and Google Meet 

• Working knowledge of Google Suite and Canva 

 

Mandatory Schedule & Attendance 

Attendance at all orientation and training sessions is mandatory. We are unable to accommodate vacations or outside commitments during the following dates: 

June 1st: Start Date  

June 13: New Staff Orientation 

June 22 – 26: Staff Training Week (Full Week) 

June 29 – August 6: Active Camp Season 

August 7: Last Day of SuperKids Camp
