Do you have a passion for agriculture?

 

It is time to put your theoretical knowledge into practice!!!!

Are you eager to showcase your unique personality and share your expertise with us? If so, we would be delighted to welcome you as an intern at BASF. We continually seek out talented and passionate students from diverse fields within agriculture. At BASF, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of exciting breeding projects. We value innovative ideas and unconventional approaches to tackle challenging problems. Depending on the nature of the project, you may work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

Your supervisor will be available to answer any questions, connect you with valuable contacts, and provide regular feedback on your progress. The Summer Aid runs from approximately June to September 2026.

Location: Acampo and Esparto, CA.

Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in breeding programs with field phenotyping and data capture
  • Assist in harvest and yield data collection
  • Help to execute field and greenhouse trials as needed.
  • Nursery activities – plant maintenance, pollination, harvesting and processing seeds
  • Able to regularly lift 20 lbs.  

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum

High school diploma or GED

Preferred

Pursuing a degree in Agriculture or a related field

Prior lab/field experience
