Job Summary 
The goal for his internship is to understand the structure of New York Habitat’s Social Media Marketing and Listing department. The intern will be able to handle new challenges and develop one’s social media and marketing skills, as well as photography and videography skills. Through this program, you will also become more efficient in your work organization and time management, while contributing to the management of online communities and blog articles project. 

Responsibilities and Duties Social 
Media Marketing department 
• Learn about Real Estate and Social Media marketing techniques. 
• Contribute to the management of online communities, Twitter, blogs, etc. 
• Assist the Marketing Department to write direct Social Media posts and creating engagement on Twitter. 
• Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage Social Media activities (online Marketing Research). 
• Participate to the blog articles project. 

Listing Department 
• Receive mentorship from our experienced real estate photographers and videographers 
• Learn more about the techniques behind apartment videography 
• Go on location for scheduled appointments at real estate locations to shoot apartment videos 
• Learn how to shoot apartment walkthrough following NYH’s brand requirements 
• Be available for 2 to 4 shoots per week 
• Assess quality of contracted shoots and receive feedback from experienced 
• photographers and videographers 
• Be willing to occasionally assist in minor decluttering/staging of the apartments 
• Collaborate with agents, owners and renters on property shoots 
• Arrive to scheduled appointments prepared and on time 
• Adjust camera settings (when needed) to handle various lighting environments • Prepare and perform assignments in an organized manner 
• Learn how to edit videos following requirements and format 

Performance Standards 
• Based on New York Habitat’s quality standards for the Product Management, student will be trained and taught by real estate instructors and Social Media Marketing Department. 
     o Participate to classes with regards to the organization of the company and the current state of laws surrounding real estate marketing.
     o Learn how to communicate with owners and clients on an international level.
     o Have hands on training and receive a manual and videos to understand the use of New York Habitat’s own database.
     o Learn how to write daily and weekly reports for the assessment of his/her progress.
     o Polish your organizational and time management skills. 
     o Learn about Real Estate and Social Media marketing techniques.

Skills and Education (KSAOs) 
• Mandatory 
     o Currently a student taking up a bachelor’s degree in either Business, Real Estate, Marketing/Social Media, or related fields 
     o Has excellent communication and writing skills 
     o Has deep knowledge of social media tools and proficiency in use of major social networks and online communities 
     o Can attain Academic Credits for the internship 
     o Can work remotely 
     o Attention to detail 
• Desirable 
     o Must be dependable, punctual, and dedicated to doing the assigned work 
     o Must be detail-oriented 

Working Conditions 
• Location – Hybrid 

Other Relevant Information 
• Interests 
     o Has shown interests in learning the ins and outs of both international real estate project management and translations 

• Work Schedule 
     o Must be available at a minimum of 150 hours at 15h/week
