Overview:

BookaBooth is seeking motivated and outgoing Sales & Business Development Interns to help expand our network of partner cafés throughout the New York City and New Jersey area. Interns will play a key role in introducing cafés to the BookaBooth platform, building relationships with business owners, and helping grow a service that transforms cafés into productive workspaces for students, remote workers, and professionals.

This internship provides hands-on experience in B2B sales, business development, relationship management, lead generation, and startup growth strategy. Interns will work closely with leadership while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify cafés that would be strong partners for BookaBooth.
  • Contact café owners and managers through phone, email, and other outreach methods.
  • Present the value of BookaBooth and explain partnership opportunities.
  • Follow through with leads and make sales for BookaBooth
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and sales activity using CRM tools.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective business partners.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve outreach strategies and expand the partner network.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with business owners and professionals.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a startup environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Interest in sales, business development, and relationship building.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience is preferred but not required.
