We are looking for an undergraduate Product Marketing & Sales Intern for a 1099 internship contract.  This opportunity is 100% remote in the United States, with a starting commitment of 4 hours per week.

Qualification for this opportunity requires

  • Submission of 2 writing samples
  • Completion of a demo project 
  • At least 8 hours of synchronous meeting availability between 1:00 PM and 5:00 Central Time on weekdays, for the next 3 months

This role may require you to

  • Conduct and document ODI-based customer interviews
  • Plan, execute, and quantify the impact of product marketing campaigns
  • Support market/segment research and selection
  • Initiate and manage communications with customers/users across various market segments
  • Support multi-channel go-to-market (GTM) operations
  • Write and edit product copy and microcopy
  • Communicate new features in easy-to-understand language
  • Leverage AI tools to drive high-value product marketing and sales outcomes
  • Support the extraction of marketing insights from customer discovery, usability testing, and other customer/user research and analysis
  • Drive community building and engagement efforts thorough online channels
  • Write and edit product marketing content such as blogs, newsletters, FAQs, and social media posts
  • Collaborate with product designers, data product engineers, and other team members
  • Proactively identify and present opportunities to improve product marketing and sales operations
  • Collaborate with teammates using Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and other software

An ideal candidate has

  • Demonstrated experience in a high-impact product marketing or sales role
  • Direct experience using Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) Theory and Outcome-Driven Innovation (ODI), as defined by Tony Ulwick / Strategyn
  • Effective modular thinking skills evidenced by the ability to break down large, intricate undertakings into a series of smaller self-contained tasks
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
  • Emotional intelligence and coachability
