Position: Student Extern (Volunteer, Part-Time)
Commitment: Minimum 3 months
Availability: At least 1 day/week (2 preferred) ( Monday-Friday)
Eligibility:
Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree
Interest in medicine, optometry, nursing, PA studies, ophthalmic technology, or related health fields
What You’ll Gain:

Shadowing physicians and medical staff
Learning to take patient histories and communicate effectively with patients
Exposure to vision testing and ophthalmic diagnostic equipment (OCT, visual fields, imaging)
Observation of minor procedures

Optional workshops on clinical skills, histories, and interview preparation
Academic Credit:
May be eligible for college credit depending on your school’s requirements.
