We are looking for personable, hardworking, intelligent interns to join our busy practice’s team to perform medical assisting, diagnostic testing, and surgical assisting for our patients. Our pre-health interns will be taught how to perform a detailed medical workup, a pretesting ophthalmic exam, and multiple testing modalities including optical coherence tomography, visual field testing, fundus photography, ocular biometry, corneal topography, and specular microscopy. The interns work with a very diverse set of patients with many different types of eye disease. Many of our interns have used their time with our practice as a way to build their resumes for medical school. We can be flexibile with intern schedules around interviews and MCATS. We provide opportunities to write articles, perform research, participate in a wet lab, and pursue other health care interests.

We are looking for a commitment of 1 – 2 years.
