Since 1997, we’ve grown to 4 clinics across the western suburbs of Chicago, combining chiropractic care with physical therapy, and massage therapy to help patients recover without unnecessary drugs or surgery.

About the Role
We’re hiring a full-time licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehab team. You’ll work closely with physical therapists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, progress treatment plans, and help patients return to daily activities and sports safely and efficiently.

Schedule: A mix of mornings and afternoon/evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

● Implement and progress treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist for a mix of orthopedic, sports, and general outpatient patients.

● Instruct, motivate, and assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and use of equipment.

● Communicate frequently with the supervising PT regarding patient status, appropriate treatment progression, follow-up visits, and discharge planning.

● Document all care in the EMR, including daily notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in a timely and accurate manner.

● Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized clinic environment.

● Collaborate with chiropractors and massage therapists as part of an integrated care team.

Required Qualifications

● Active Illinois PTA license (or in process of obtaining IL licensure).

● Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

● Strong interest in outpatient rehabilitation and sports medicine.

● Solid basic skills in therapeutic exercise, manual techniques (as permitted by scope), and patient education.

● Strong communication and documentation skills; comfortable using an EMR.

● Team-oriented, professional, and able to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Preferred Qualifications

● 1+ years of experience as a PTA in an outpatient rehab setting (new grads welcome with strong outpatient/sports clinicals).

● Experience working with athletes or active adults/teens.

● Background or interest in performance, return-to-sport, or injury prevention programming.

What Olympia Offers

● Health benefits (medical, dental, vision).

● Simple IRA Retirement plan

● PTO (paid time off).

● Malpractice insurance and CEU reimbursement.

● Competitive pay based on experience.

If you’re a licensed PTA who loves outpatient rehabilitation, sports medicine, and a true team atmosphere, we’d love to hear from you.
