Title: Marketing, Events and Social Media Intern 

Duration: 8 weeks 

Start Date: Monday, June 15, 2026 

End Date: Friday, August 14, 2026 

Hours: up to 20- 25 hours per week 

Compensation: $20 per hour 

Hybrid Position: Remote and In Office 

College Credits: Offered and available 

Description of Internship Duties and Responsibilities – Lifeline Partnership is seeking a dynamic intern to help improve marketing efforts by: 

*Overseeing the redesign and development of the Lifeline Partnership website 

*Developing social media accounts for Lifeline Partnership on the following platforms: Instagram, SnapChat, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook 

*Creating social media and website content along with content calendars for all platforms 

*Monitoring all social media account analytics and provide weekly status reports that includes trends, insights, and best performing content 

*Brainstorming and introduce new ideas to enhance the attendee experience at in-person and online events 

*Research and connect with potential community partners 

*Fulfill staffing needs for Lifeline Partnership events 

*Perform other duties as assigned 

Lifeline Partnership is a non-profit, located in Washington, D.C., that provides social and spiritual programs for teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Qualifications: 

*Excellent written and oral communication skills 

*Extensive knowledge of social media platforms

*Demonstrated experience with web design projects 

*Ability to work independently and in a team environment 

*Proficient in Google, Microsoft, and Windows suite 

*Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

*Strong attention to detail 

*Creative thinker 

*Passion for the developmental disability community
