Marketing and Communications Internship

 

Atlas Network is seeking an intern to help with content creation and developing stories about our partner network for our Marketing and Communication Team. This intern would report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager. Atlas Network is a nonprofit that supports free market organizations (think tanks) and individuals across the globe with the potential to champion our vision of a free, prosperous, and peaceful society. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and driven individual interested in gaining experience in social media and copywriting while supporting an international nonprofit.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting emails, social media content, and weekly partner highlight blog posts
  • Curating content for podcasts and video productions
  • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting engagement analytics from Atlas Network website and social media platforms
  • Facilitating communication between the Marketing and Communications department and other teams

Preferred:

  • Experience with social media and content management
  • Experience with Hubspot, MailChimp, Wistia, Riverside, Craft or WordPress
  • Experience or courses in journalism, English, marketing and communications, economics or other formal writing
  • Interest in Atlas Network’s mission and international issues

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, Atlas Network interns are able to participate in a variety of professional development programs.

Internship Details:

  • This application requires a portfolio of social media work and a writing sample from a professional or academic setting (500 words or less)

  • Up to 30 hours per week
  • Preference to applicants who can regularly be in the Arlington, Virginia office
  • Position is eligible for a flexible work from home schedule
