Position Summary:

The Marketing Analytics Intern supports Biocom’s Marketing team through the tracking, analysis, and reporting of marketing initiatives across all channels and functional areas —membership sales, member engagement and retention, group purchasing contracts, conferences and events, policy and advocacy, funding and partnering, and workforce development. This role helps measure the effectiveness of campaigns, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for improvement. This internship offers hands-on experience analyzing data within the biotechnology and life science industry, supporting real-world marketing decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Pulling analytics data for marketing activities across email, social media, web and paid campaigns using platforms such Salesforce, Pardot (Account Engagement), LinkedIn, X, Hootsuite and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Generating recurring Salesforce reports tracking KPIs for key initiatives including, membership sales, membership renewals, member health scores, group purchasing contracts created and renewed, and event registrations
  • Tracking benefits received by members and group purchasing partners as a result of marketing activities
  • Creating data visualization one-pagers and presentations that capture key takeaways, highlight trends, and demonstrate progress toward goals for internal stakeholders
  • Working with supervisor to document reporting processes and identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve data integrity 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experienced and proficient in analyzing complex data primarily using Excel (advanced use including Pivot Tables, X-Lookup, nested If statements, etc. required)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and follow through
  • Ability to manage time appropriately (based on priorities established by supervisor) when working independently and when working with team members 
  • Current college junior or senior or recent graduate 
  • Collaborative, analytical, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team environment.
