The Media Research Center’s paid internship is the premier program for students looking to advance their career in conservative media. Interns work alongside industry professionals to play an active role in accomplishing the MRC’s mission: to expose and neutralize left-wing media bias. 

As an MRC Legal Fellow you will play an active role in legal analysis, research and writing for the Censorship Investigation Project. Legal fellows will facilitate legal research efforts, with a special focus on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIAs). The Legal Fellow will work alongside 3 MRC staff members, all of whom are lawyers in the Free Speech America Department. 

Qualifications for a Legal Fellow: 

  • Current law student that has completed at least their first year at an accredited law school 
  • Knowledge or desire to learn more about collaborative efforts across the conservative movement
  • Ability to present ideas concisely and clearly in writing
  • Ability to self-start and meet deadlines
     

The MRC’s paid Legal Fellowship is a 12-week program.
