Individual Support Counselor – Relief

 

Riverside Community Care is seeking an Individual Support Counselor to join our community-based Shared Living, Individual Support and In-Home Supports program based in Norwood and serving the surrounding area.

 

Working as part of a team in a relief capacity staff will provide guidance, education, supervision, and direct supports to individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities or brain injuries. Allowing individuals served to maintain their physical and emotional health, live safely in the community or their homes, and develop the skills necessary for independent living and increased independence at home.

 

Pay Rate: $20.50/hourly

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer fluency (including Microsoft Office) required
  • Must have the ability to work as a member of a team and function independently 
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required

 

Required Experience

  •        High School Diploma required.
