The I.T Intern will support various areas of the I.T. department. The I.T. Intern will support Quincy Compressors digital journey to enable our organization to run business at full speed! This program will provide valuable insight to working effectively as part of a global team, overcoming business challenges, and conclude with a presentation to our leadership team.

 

Principle Duties:
– Provide onsite support and remote support to end users for all IT related issues and change requests
– Support the configuration and building of PC’s and refreshing applications
– Provide exception customer service to all customers
– Perform all other related tasks and projects required throughout the duration of the internship
– Ability to work approximately 32-40 hours per week when class is not in session

 

Accountability:
This position reports directly to the I.T. Support Team Lead

 

Education and Experience:
– Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Network Administration or similar field of study
– Previous Internship experience is preferred but not required

 

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
– An active, continuous learning mindset and attitude
– Ability to work approximately 32-40 hours per week when class is not in session

 

Training Requirements:
– 5S Training
– General Safety Training
– Software Training as needed

 

Physical Demands:
Required to be able to move about the facility (standing, walking).

 

Work Environment:
Mostly office based with frequent warehouse or factory environment exposure, and some venue visits.

MAY BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED, DIRECTED, OR ASSIGNED.
