Join Our Team as a Human Resources Intern!

Are you passionate about people, culture, and making workplaces thrive? We’re on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to 6–12 month journey into the world of HR!

This internship is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in human resources while working with a dynamic and supportive team. You’ll be involved in real projects that shape employee experiences—like onboarding, training, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Organizing & Managing HR Documents – Scan, file, and maintain accurate records to keep things running smoothly.
Onboarding Superstars – Help welcome new hires, assign training, and process exits when needed.
Coordinating Our Partner Up Program – Connect new hires with mentors, set up meetings, and ensure they start off strong.
Leave of Absence Support – Track requests, complete forms, and send important updates to employees.
Communication & Admin Support – Draft and send HR-related emails, assist with forms, and help the team with daily tasks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field, or a recent graduate in one of these areas.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience (HR experience is a plus!).
  • A detail-oriented, highly organized multitasker who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • A friendly, professional communicator who enjoys working with people from all backgrounds.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with care and confidentiality.
  • Tech-savvy! Proficiency in MS Office Suite is a plus.

Other Details

Company: Biocom
Location: San Diego, CA
Internship Duration: 6 months with the possibility of an extension (starting in July)
Hours: Part-Time; 18 – 24 hours per week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
Compensation: $20 per hour
