Graphic Design Internship

Department: Marketing
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Employment Type: Internship — Part-Time – can convert to full time with negotiated pay increase
Location: On site
Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week
Compensation: Paid Internship $1,600 per month

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, dependable, and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to support our marketing team.   The Revolution FMO based in Henderson, NV is a business to business organization focused on financial services and insurance sales. This internship offers hands-on experience developing visual content for digital campaigns, social media, presentations, print materials, events, and sales initiatives within the financial-services and insurance industry.

The ideal candidate has a strong design foundation, enjoys turning ideas into polished visuals, and is eager to build a professional portfolio while learning how creative work supports marketing and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, websites, presentations, advertisements, and internal communications.
  • Assist with brochures, flyers, postcards, event materials, sales collateral, and other print projects.
  • Adapt existing creative materials into different sizes and formats for digital and print use.
  • Maintain brand consistency across colors, typography, imagery, and layouts.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, recruiting, and operations teams to understand project goals.
  • Edit and resize photos, illustrations, and other visual assets.
  • Organize design files, templates, logos, photographs, and brand resources.
  • Prepare production-ready files and review proofs for accuracy.
  • Assist with brainstorming concepts for campaigns, events, agent recruiting, and product promotions.
  • Manage multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback and make revisions efficiently.
  • Support other marketing and creative projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in graphic design, visual communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, or similar design platforms.
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles, including typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Portfolio or examples of academic, personal, or professional design work required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing both digital and print materials.
  • Familiarity with social media content creation and digital advertising formats.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing, motion graphics, photography, or website design.
  • Interest in marketing, financial services, insurance, or professional-services industries.
  • Familiarity with print-production requirements and file preparation.
