Finz is building AI-native operating finance for real economy businesses across hospitality, retail, wellness, and local services. We help operators get better control over cash, costs, and margin by connecting finance with daily operations.

We are looking for a Fintech Growth Intern to support customer research, outreach, pipeline development, and go-to-market strategy. This role is ideal for someone interested in startups, fintech, SMB finance, and how early-stage companies find and win customers.

You will work directly with the founder to identify the right customer segments, research prospects, support outreach, track pipeline activity, and turn market feedback into sharper growth strategy.

What You’ll Do

– Research target customer segments across hospitality, retail, wellness, and local services
– Build prospect lists of business owners, operators, finance leads, and potential partners
– Support outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, and founder-led follow-ups
– Help qualify leads and schedule customer discovery conversations
– Track outreach, notes, stages, and next steps in CRM or internal systems
– Research competitors, acquisition channels, and partnership opportunities
– Analyze response rates, customer feedback, and pipeline activity
– Support customer interviews and summarize key insights for product and GTM decisions
– Assist with investor, partner, and market research where needed

Who We’re Looking For

– Student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field
– Strong interest in fintech, startups, SMBs, and customer acquisition
– Strong written communication and research skills
– Comfortable with outreach, follow-ups, and organized pipeline tracking
– Good judgment in identifying relevant prospects and opportunities
– Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
– Comfortable using Google Sheets, Notion, LinkedIn, and CRM-style tools
– Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

What You’ll Gain

– Hands-on experience in early-stage fintech growth
– Direct exposure to founder-led sales, GTM strategy, and customer discovery
– Experience working with real customer segments and live pipeline data
– Insight into how fintech products are positioned, sold, and refined
– Direct collaboration with the founder and core team

Please include a short cover letter highlighting why this role interests you and any relevant experience in research, outreach, startups, fintech, sales, marketing, or customer acquisition.
