Kick off your summer with an exciting opportunity! Join us as a Fair Seasonal Employee and be at the heart of the Jefferson County Fair. Help keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced, fun environment where every day brings something new!
WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A FAIR SEAONAL EMPLOYEE
Date: June 22–July 17 (dates vary by role) We need several employees for a variety of exciting positions. Be part of the County’s biggest summer event!
$15/hour – Work 20 to 40 hours per week!
FAIR SEASONAL EMPLOYEE JOB OPENINGS
Clerical (office and finance)- data entry, filing, answering phones, supporting general office functions. Accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail required.
Grounds Worker- repair, maintain, and clean fairgrounds before, during and after events. Set up tents, tables, picking up trash, maintaining restrooms, and assisting general ground upkeep.
Ticketing/Gates – assists with entry operations at the fair. Selling and scanning tickets, providing information to guests, managing lines, checking hand stamps or passes to ensure smooth and secure entry and exit at gates. Strong customer service skills are important.
