Internship Position
The Balmoral Group – Tallahassee Branch is seeking motivated students with an interest in economics, policy,data science, marketing analytics, and grants management, for a Fall Economist Intern position to support our Economics Team in our Tallahassee, Florida office.
Economist interns will gain real world experience as they develop professional working knowledge of industry methods, procedures, and standards while working for our professional Economics Team.
Economist interns are responsible for performing a variety of entry level economist tasks including data collection, data analysis, tabulation of charts, graphs and exhibits to support economic analysis, literature review, and policy research related to various projects, as well as market analysis and business development support. Examples include work for the Florida Wildlife Corridor, a Benefit Cost analysis for Monroe County Natural resources, a statewide review of resource allocation at Special Districts (mosquito control districts), statewide DEP Resiliency mapping of critical assets, economic analysis for a Habitat Conservation Plan in Amelia Island, transportation statistics/construction cost modeling for several clients and econometric modeling of housing premiums. Additionally, interns will perform market research activities for the Balmoral Group Tallahassee Office.

procedures, and standards, while working with our professional economics team. We offer a flexible part-time work schedule (minimum 20 hours, but flexible) that accommodates your school schedule.
