About the Role

SupplyPoint is looking for a Data Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work on real data projects — pulling and analyzing data, building dashboards, and helping the team turn numbers into decisions. If you’re comfortable in SQL, curious about what data actually means in a business context, and can communicate your findings clearly, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work alongside our data and operations teams on projects that may include querying and cleaning datasets, building or contributing to dashboards and reports, conducting exploratory analysis to surface trends and patterns, and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Technical skills: Working knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, subqueries), experience with data cleaning and aggregation, and a basic understanding of how data is structured (tables, keys, relationships).

Analysis: Ability to conduct exploratory data analysis, understand KPIs in a business context, and think beyond the numbers to ask why something is happening.

Visualization and tools: Familiarity with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar), comfort with Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas), and an eye for clear, audience-first dashboard design.

Communication: Ability to tell a clear story with data, translate findings for non-technical audiences, and ask the right questions before diving in.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. Rising junior or senior preferred. Previous coursework or project experience involving SQL and data analysis required.

Why SupplyPoint

You’ll get real project ownership, not busywork. This is a chance to build your portfolio with work that actually ships and gets used by the business.
