Copywriting Intern

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Creative Department Seeks Word Person.

Have a way with words and a need for summer work? Have we got the role for you. From day one, our copywriting interns work on real projects for real clients alongside a crack team of creatives.

Some experience is great. Even more important are a passion for writing, a curiosity about the industry and a willingness to learn. Along the way, you’ll work and collaborate with other departments like social, strategy, media and even accounting (it’s a paid position, after all). 

Build your portfolio, gain some experience, have some fun and make some money. 

Ready for the nitty-gritty? 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in writing and editing copy for social media, digital ads, email marketing, print, out-of-home, video, radio and more.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions and creative concept development. 
  • Collaborate with creative, media, account services and strategy teams on client projects. 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, English, public relations or a related field. 
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Creative thinker.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Previous writing experience through coursework, internships, student organizations, blogs or freelance work is a plus. 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using AI writing tools responsibly and effectively. 
  • Understanding of advertising and marketing principles. 
  • Portfolio of writing samples (academic, personal or professional).

This is a paid internship.
