Computer Science Intern – Data Integration – Texas

Job Description:

We are seeking a Computer Science Intern to assist with integrating, processing, and managing data using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. The intern will work with technical teams to improve data workflows, automate processes, and support AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):

  • Collect, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources for AI and analytics applications. 
  • Develop and maintain data integration pipelines and workflows. 
  • Assist in implementing AI and machine learning models for data processing and analysis. 
  • Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks. 
  • Validate data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems. 
  • Support the integration of APIs, databases, and cloud-based data platforms. 
  • Create documentation for data processes, system configurations, and AI solutions. 
  • Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders on project requirements. 
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to data integration processes.

 

Ideal candidate qualifications include:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, and data management concepts. 
  • Basic knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data analytics tools. 
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

 

Personal/Character:   Honest, building trusting relationships with others.  You should be self-driven, detail-oriented, punctual, technically minded, own a positive approach with a clear focus on meeting objectives and solving problems. You should have good communication skills and a business-like appearance that will establish comfort with our customers.  Ability to work in a team environment, caring about the success of others and our customers is critical to your success.
