Hoboken Grace is a growing, contemporary, Christian church seeking to discover what it means to follow Jesus Christ in our city! As we have grown, so have our opportunities. Every employee is an important part of the team.

This internship provides a hands-on learning experience in organizing community within an organization. By contributing to our mission of creating authentic connections and spiritual growth, you will gain valuable skills in marketing, leader management, and community engagement. By the end of the internship, you will have developed competencies that apply not only within a church setting but also in college, future workplaces, and beyond.

At the heart of everything we do is people. This internship is for those who believe that building meaningful relationships and fostering connection makes a lasting impact.

Community Team Intern will:

  • Learn the intricacies of building and sustaining community within an organization.
  • Develop skills in marketing, digital communication, and team management.
  • Gain insights into effective strategies for engaging and supporting leaders and volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • College students looking for hands-on leadership experience
  • Passionate about leadership, marketing, and community-building
  • A foundational understanding that people are at the heart of what we do
  • Strong communicators who connect easily with others
  • Teachable, positive, and ready to learn
  • Comfortable learning new digital tools

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Help plan and promote events that bring people together
  • Design engaging assets for social media and outreach
  • Support leader recruitment and management
  • Help capture and share community-based stories to inspire and engage others
  • Maintain key organizational documents for smooth operations

SCHEDULE

  • September 16 – December 11, 2026 
  • 10-12 hours per week depending on candidate

COMPENSATION PACKAGE  

  •  $250 – $500 stipend at the end of the internship
