Rise Political Strategies is seeking a fall intern to join our team! We are a political consulting firm that supports Democratic candidates at the state and national levels, as well as non-partisan organizations. Ideal applicants are juniors or seniors with a strong interest in pursuing a career in political campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Donor Research: Compile and organize information on individuals who regularly contribute to PA candidates (including, but not limited to, contact details, political and philanthropic giving history, occupation, biographies, etc.).
  • Fundraising Support: Make calls for donations or events as needed.
  • Event Staffing: Assist our team and candidates with fundraising events as needed.
  • Other similar tasks as needed.

Most of the work will focus on donor research, which involves spreadsheet management and data entry, utilizing tools like OpenSecrets, campaign finance reports, and general internet searches to compile contact and background information. We will train and support interns to become more comfortable using these skills and research tools. Prior campaign experience is not required.

Internship Details:

  • Hours: 10-15 hours per week
  • Compensation: $15/hour
  • Location: Hybrid, or virtual. We encourage interns to join us in our office as much as possible to gain great exposure and make work more interesting, though remote work is an option. The office is in Center City on Walnut Street, a short walk from Suburban, Walnut-Locust, or 15th Street Stations.
  • Academic credit: We are happy to accommodate requirements for students to earn academic credit.
  • Duration: Internship period from August 24, 2026 to December 18, 2026, with start and end dates flexible depending on school schedule.

Interested applicants should send their resume to Hayden Giordano at Hayden@RisePoliticalStrategies.com by August 9th.
