Camp Skylemar, a residential summer camp in Maine, is seeking a creative and passionate Photographer to capture the people, energy, and unforgettable moments of camp life.   This is an exciting opportunity for a college student or recent graduate with strong photography skills and a love for outdoor adventure to build their portfolio and be part of an impactful community.

📸 Job Responsibilities:
• Take daily photos of campers, staff, activities, and facilities
• Capture candid moments, action shots, and group portraits
• Edit, organize, and upload photos regularly for use in marketing and social media
• Collaborate with the Photography & Media team to tell the story of camp through images
• Manage and care for photography equipment, ensuring backups and safety

🎓 Ideal Candidate Has:
• Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and photo editing software (Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop)
• A creative eye and ability to capture authentic moments
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to live and work in a camp environment
• Experience working with children or in dynamic settings is a plus

💰 Compensation & Perks:
• Starting salary: $3,200.
• Free housing, meals, laundry, and WiFi.
• Round-trip travel expenses covered.
• Staff clothing and access to camp facilities.
• Internship credit available. (Requires approval from your college/university).
• Time off to explore Maine’s lakes, beaches, and trails.

Located in Naples, Maine, Camp Skylemar has been a premier boys’ summer camp since 1948. We provide a meaningful, active, and inclusive experience for boys ages 7–16—and for the staff who mentor them. Our mission is to make a positive impact, one child at a time.
