Overview:
BookaBooth is seeking analytical and detail-oriented Software Automation Interns to help build the data foundation for our growing startup. Book A Booth is developing a platform that helps remote workers, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals easily discover and reserve quiet workspaces inside cafés.

Interns will begin by researching the best work-friendly cafés throughout New York City before expanding across the United States. Working closely with the founding team, interns will identify and organize information on cafés where customers regularly bring laptops to work, creating structured datasets that will power future software automation and location-based features.

This internship provides hands-on experience in data research, software automation, AI-assisted workflows, and startup operations while contributing directly to the launch of an innovative technology platform.

This role is ideal for students interested in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify cafés that are popular with remote workers, students, and entrepreneurs.
  • Collect and organize data on café amenities, including Wi-Fi, seating, power outlets, and operating hours.
  • Build and maintain accurate datasets for Book A Booth’s platform.
  • Utilize AI and automation tools to streamline data collection and validation.
  • Collaborate with the software and product teams to support new platform features and improve data quality.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or coding (e.g., Python, Zapier, OpenAI APIs, Bolt, etc.).
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interest in startups, business optimization, marketing, and AI technology.

Perks & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered solutions in a real business.
  • Flexible, creative role where your ideas and implementations matter.
  • Mentorship from both the tech and business teams.

If you’re ready to be a part of the next BIG thing, then come join us today!
