Monmouth University will be offering a responsible bartending training workshop for bartenders and owners of alcohol establishments on Monday, February 25, 2013, 4 to 6 p.m. in MAC Varsity Club Room. The workshop will educate owners, managers, servers, and sellers at alcohol establishments about strategies to avoid illegally selling alcohol to underage youth or intoxicated patrons. Free dinner, prizes, and certificates will be provided, and the event is free and open to the public. Representatives from Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will give training as well as information from HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers.
