Student Government Association

FreshStart Application

Apply Online Now

The Student Government Association (SGA) is one of 80 clubs, teams, and organizations you will learn about at Monmouth University. SGA serves as the voice of the students and is a liaison to the administration. SGA is responsible for presenting a number of campus wide programs that include the Big Event-Day of Community Service, Homecoming, and Springfest. Please browse our Web site for more information on these events! SGA is also responsible for overseeing an annual budget of approximately $640,000 that provides funding to other clubs and organizations.

FreshStart is SGA's mentoring program for incoming Senators. Below is a copy of the FreshStart application. Those selected will have a current member of the Senate serve as a mentor during their first semester with SGA to help them understand how SGA runs and help them get acquainted with all that Monmouth University has to offer. Applications are due by 12 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012.

If you feel the need to have your voice heard, care about the University you're about to join, and would like to create lifelong memories, we hope you will consider applying for one of the 6 freshmen Senator vacancies, as part of the FreshStart Program!!!

Make a difference; if you won't who will?
