Endowed Professor of Marine Science Jason Adolf, Ph.D., will host “What We Do Impacts the Ocean Environment” on Tuesday, July 19 at 6 p.m. The event, presented by the Bradley Beach Public Library, will feature research findings from Adolf and his students that showcase how our oceans and coastal lakes are affected by human impact. Registration is required for this virtual presentation.
Adolf’s research team, called the PHABLab (Phytoplankton and Harmful Algal Bloom Lab), studies HABs in coastal lakes and our local estuaries, the relationship between rainfall and pollution at New Jersey beaches, and how offshore windfarm developments affect the ocean.
