The Office of University Marketing & Communications has updated the University’s Visual Identity Guidelines (VIGs) and prepared a new Editorial Style Guide to assist all members of the Monmouth community and our partners in presenting a cohesive visual brand identity and style, both internally and externally, in order to strengthen and protect the integrity of our brand.
The VIGs establish the approved graphic elements to represent the University and its related entities. Included in the toolkit are usage guidelines regarding Monmouth’s primary and sub-brand marks or logos for schools and departments, as well as color and typeface requirements. The Editorial Style Guide provides direction for commonly used terms.
Approved logos may be downloaded from the online portal, which includes guidance for their use. Employees may also want to use the email signature generator that will allow us to present a consistent brand look in email– the modern equivalent of business stationery. Branded PowerPoint and newsletter templates are expected to be added shortly.
