Anita O’Malley, CEO of Perspectiv3, to speak at Monmouth U on October 8

Anita O’Malley, CEO of Perspectiv3, a social media marketing firm that helps companies use social and digital marketing to build awareness and prospect for new opportunities, will join the Monmouth University Master of Arts Corporate and Public Communication (CPC) Colloquium Speaker Series, Tuesday, October 8th at 8 p.m. in Plangere Center 134.

O’Malley has extensive experience working in the field. Her firm’s programs were recently cited for their evolutionary approach to demand generation using social media at Oracle OpenWorld, one of the Information Technology (IT) industry’s largest trade shows. Previously, O’Malley was the senior marketing manager for Agilysys, Inc., a national IT solutions reseller with revenues around $750M. Formerly Director of Marketing at Innovativ, Sun Microsystems’ largest national reseller, she built the company’s marketing department, architected strategic marketing plans, defined the corporate brand, and managed all lead generation activities while the firm grew from $50M to $260M in revenue.

O’Malley is an avid blogger and sought-after speaker on social marketing initiatives including the most recent 17th Annual New Jersey Communication Association (NJCA) Conference, 2013 Sandler Training Regional Meeting keynote speaker, and a 2012 NJ Professional Women’s Networking group speaker, to name a few. She is currently the corporate liaison to the NJCA Board. Strategic programs designed and executed by O’Malley have won multiple industry awards from best marketing campaigns to excellence in public relations.

O’Malley holds a B.S. degree in Mass Communications from Boston University and is currently studying for her Master’s degree in Public Relations and Communications at Monmouth University.
