Professor Hill has been leading yoga and Pilates classes since 2008. She teaches at studios throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties and can be found leading beach yoga during the summer months. Professor Hill has also worked with various populations within her community, from elementary-aged children to seniors practicing chair yoga.
Professor Hill began teaching at Monmouth in 2009 in the Information Technology department. Seeing many of her students feeling tired and stressed, she began to branch out to share her yoga practice within the university community. Professor Hill joined the Health and Physical Education department teaching yoga and Pilates. Additionally she has worked with Monmouth athletes and even appeared as a guest on Hawk TV, discussing and demonstrating the benefits of a yoga practice.
In Professor Hill’s classes, students can expect an emphasis on alignment, breath & movement, all while building strength and balance. The goal is to provide a space where students may connect with their bodies, quiet their busy minds and create inner calm, focus and mindfulness.
